Texas A&M men win NAIGC Nationals again!
Salt Lake City, Utah, April 19-21: For the second consecutive year, the Texas A&M men's team won the NAIGC national title, beating second place Penn State 247.5 to 244.8. The women's team placed third this year with a score of 143.75 behind Penn State (144.55) and MIT (149.25).
The A&M men also did very well individually. Michael Bynum won the all around title this year, beating defending national champion Eli Richardson 82.6 to 8.0. Chase Hames and freshman Will Conte also placed in the top ten: 5th and 8th place, respectively. For the women's team, freshman Molly Stuckey placed 8th in the all around.
For individual events:
Michael Bynum placed 12th on Floor, 2nd on Pommels, 10th on Vault, 4th on Parallel Bars, and 2nd on High Bar.
Eli Richardson placed 1st on Floor, 12th on Pommels, 10th on Rings, 4th on Vault, 2nd on Parallel Bars, and 7th on High Bar.
Chase Hames placed 17th on Floor, 9th on Pommels, 7th on Vault, 5th on Parallel Bars, and 3rd on High Bar.
Will Conte placed 14th on Floor, 10th on Pommels, 5th on Parallel Bars, and 4th on High Bar.
Alexis Olson placed 2nd on Floor.
Daniel Kelly placed 11th on Floor.
Michael Hann placed 12th on Rings.
Molly Stuckey placed 6th on Vault, 17th on Uneven Bars, and 5th on Floor
Michelle Owen placed 3rd on Uneven Bars.
Kristina Paradowski placed 10th on Uneven Bars.
Sarah Thomas placed 11th on Uneven Bars.
Emily Winston placed 14th on Floor, and 23rd on Balance Beam.
Sydney Riegel placed 7th on Balance Beam.

Congratulations 2011 National Champions!!!
On April 7-9, Texas A&M Gymnastics competed against over fifty schools and more than 600 competitors at the 2011 NAIGC National Championships in Richmond, Virginia. Texas A&M men's team won this year with an impressive score of 249.7, over three points ahead of second place team from Penn State University (246.4) and third place team from University of Illinois (237.1). The women's team placed second this year with a score of 149.025, one point behind MIT (150.025) but ahead of University of Rhode Island (147.325).
In addition to outstading team performance, many team members placed individually: Congratulations esecially to Eli Richardson for winning the men's all around title for the third consecutive year as well as placing in the top four on every event.
Eli Richardson placed 1st on Floor, Pommels, and P Bars, 2nd on Rings, 3rd on Vault, and 4th on High Bar.
Neil Henderson placed 12th on Floor, 13th on Vault, 4th on P Bars, 9th on High Bar, and 9th in All Around.
Alexis Olson placed 14th on Floor.
Chase Hames placed 19 on Floor, 9th on Pommels, 14th on Vault, and 13th in All Around.
Robert Johnson placed 13th on Pommels and 9th on Rings.
